The real question you might be asking yourself now is "Who is this James and Jennifer Clendenin anyways, and how can they help ME?"

 

Well, we’re gonna first introduce ourselves, and then we’ll share our business with you ...this is the same one we use to generate a six figure income from the comfort of our home.

 

Professionally, I spent 21 years in the military, several years as a real estate entrepreneur, a mortgage reduction counselor, and a network marketer. 

 

 My wife Jennifer and I have been married over 9 wonderful years 

 and we live in Sunny (most of the time), Florida with our cat,

 Leona.

 

Since 1995, we’ve been earning a full-time income within the network marketing and direct sales industry.   We enjoy an incredible sense of security, peace of mind and time-freedom because we've created a stream of passive income ... that way,  if we want to vacation in Hawaii for a month, we can, as long  as we find someone to feed the kitty!

Over 20 years ago, I began my own home-based business.    But after running a few traditional businesses for several years,  I soon found out that all I really owned was a full-time job disguised as a business ...

 

Not enough hours in the week.  I learned that you still can't trade hours for dollars and at the same time, get ahead.  That equation works against you, so I decided to educate myself and find out how to leverage my time and money using un-traditional methods.

 

And although we’ve earned over $35K in one month (documented), there's no magic to what we do or what we’ve accomplished.   We just keep an open mind, educate ourselves and try lots of things.  Some work out, some don't.

My guess is that if you're still reading this, you've probably had some experience with a "home business" before.  And for most of us, it wasn't a positive one ... am I right?

 

Like me, you've probably wasted time and money struggling to figure out how to succeed with your own business, or even if it was possible in the first place.

 

Well, not only is it possible for ANYONE to make money in what we do, We'll do our best to point you in the right direction and help you see how this can become a reality for you.

 

But before we talk about that, we wanna mention that one thing you'll notice here is, this isn't some cookie cutter website that looks like all the rest out there.  It's unique, because it's about US, and not some bland, characterless and uninspiring Biz Op site (which happens to be the vast majority).

 

It's not corporate.  It's a very personal name-branding site and I'm helping lots of people build them to create more trust and build relationships with future clients, AUTOMATICALLY.

By the way, if you find someone really interesting and down to earth, doesn't it make it easier to contact them?  You already pretty much feel like you know them!

Jennifer:  In 1993  I moved my family from New Hampshire (where we lived in the projects) to Florida.  At the time I was a single Mom and my daughters, Ariel and Faith, were ages 8 and 6.   

We traveled by greyhound bus with 3 boxes of belongings to our name.  My first year in Florida, I earned $8,000 for the entire year.  Needless to say, we were living at the poverty level.  Soon I was introduced to my future husband  ...James.  We met on a blind date in January of 1994.  He also was broke (due to a messy divorce and a financial reversal) and living with his mother (at the age of 45 … can you imagine?) 

 

I asked him, “ What do you do for a living.” and he replied, “I’m in Marketing.”  I had no clue what that meant.

 

Together, James and I rented a tiny house in a run down neighborhood in a bad part of town. But that was the least of our struggles.  James was determined to make a living with Multi-Level Marketing, but was having little success.

 

To make ends meet I was cleaning houses on the side and working as a hair stylist.  We didn’t have any money and was too proud to ask for help from any family members.  And on top of that, there is  groceries, gas, childcare, clothing, and transportation (which eats up a large portion of a woman’s income).  Discouraged as I was, I decided to go back to college to earn a degree, so I could get a better paying job.

 

James and I are not lazy or uneducated people, he retired from the Navy as a Chief Warrant Officer.  After he departed the military service, he was not willing to work for someone else and was determined to build a Home Based Business.

 

Several years later…………………

 

One of James’s business acquaintance (who turned out to be James’s best man at our wedding) stopped by to show us his new in-home business opportunity.  He was very excited and got my husband excited as well.   Bob asked me to come and listen to his presentation, but I was completely skeptical.  I just sat there with my arms folded giving him the evil eye.  However, my  husband jumped right in and joined him.  He purchased inventory by borrowing his brothers credit card.  (remember, my husband didn’t have any money)

 

Before I knew it, my husband was working this business full time.  He was able to pay his brother back in short order.  I did not participate in any way to help, I just figured him being such a determined person, he was going to do it no matter what.

 

Just 8 months later he was earning $10,000 a month.  I decided to join him in his venture.

 

As important as money is needed to live, just as importantly to me was self-esteem and self-worth by knowing what I did made a difference for others.  You can get that by owning and running your own business.

 

Today 20 million people work from home and the Internet represents one of the greatest economic revolutions in history – and it’s just getting started.  In today’s world, working for yourself is actually the safer route because working for a corporation has become a risky proposition.

 

Not only have changing tax laws leveled the playing field, but also changes in technology have actually tilted that field toward individual entrepreneurs, giving them the distinct edge.  Home-based businesses are one of the fastest-growing segments in our economy, and that trend will only continue.

 

Can you imagine you working from home in your own business.

 

Great! 

 

However, you need to know this up front.  You must treat it like a real business, not a hobby or a game to play only when you feel up to it.

Okay, you’re probably wondering HOW!

 

Well initially, we did seminars, one-on-one presentations, training lunches, business breakfast briefings and several other fun type marketing techniques.  We are presently and steadily moving towards automation. 

 

One thing for sure, you need to enjoy it and want it.  You are a role model.  Other women see how you do it and copy you.  This is called leadership-influence. See yourself doing this with class and style and grace, even when you do not feel like it. 

 

With this will come not only enormous personal wealth, but also the affirmation and strengthening of moral and family values.  There is personal growth and freedom that comes with owning your own home-based business and controlling your own destiny.

 

This means that your home is your workplace.  Obviously, no one just stumbles blindly into a successful home-based career. Imagine what it would be like if you are exposed to training, materials, education, tools for developing belief systems and management systems that you are not likely to find anywhere else. 

 

The skills you are likely to learn include computer and internet proficiency, public speaking ability, leadership development, product knowledge, marketing techniques, instructional abilities, one on one communications techniques and more. And this skill base will help you in every thing else you do in life.  We can teach you this and more.

 

Here’s a secret: You do not have to reach the top level in our business to be successful.

 

If I bring you in to our company, and then you fail, I am the one who loses.

 

I lose all the time I spent training you.  And all you have lost is the nominal cost for your company representative package.  We have a saying in our business that, “ you only win when you help others.”  In other words, it behooves us to ensure you succeed.

 

As you read every word of this bio you’ll discover helping other people make smart economic choices, create a business that they can operate from home, spend more time with their families and build a stream of residual income at the same time– and helping so many different people do this-offers it’s own rewards, far above and beyond the monetary rewards.

 

My family is important to me.  I come from a large Irish family.  I think the loneliest business people I see today are those whose children have no idea what their parents do.  If you are able to teach your children what it is you do, what it is that they are economically dependent upon, and even better,   if they can actually see you doing it and even participate in some meaningful way, then this destructive and alienating rift between work and home starts to dissolve.

 

Our daughters participated in our business from the start.  By stamping and stuffing envelopes, putting packages together and making phone calls ( when she was a little older)  Teach them and include them in your business. (by the way, their allowance was tax deductable). 

 

My kids have never been an interference– they are my purpose in life.  We rewarded them by taking them on trips all over the world.   It doesn't matter how much money you earn if you never get to see your spouse or your children.  This is a benefit a home-based business brings beyond money.

 

You probably already know this, but the only way you are ever going to accumulate a significant amount of wealth is through leveraged passive income, which is another term for residual income. Residual income is income that continues to flow after the work that created it has been completed – income that is , in other words, residual remaining from the original effort.

 

This is one of the features I like best about our business.  Not everyone will be able to afford a big piece of income generating real estate,  write a bestselling book or sing a hit song.   But our business provides an opportunity for everyone, regardless of background, specialized skills, or accrued capital wealth – to create a significant residual income. 

 

Fortunately, the single most important factor that determines how successful you will be is under your complete control: that factor is YOU.

 

Your rewards are directly proportional to the quality of your own efforts,  but you know what?  We are fond of saying that you are in business for yourself, but you certainly are not in business by yourself.  You can count on us to help you.

 

James and I were married on August 17, 1997.  All of my sisters and all of his brothers were in the ceremony.  Then we honeymooned in Paris, France.   We have also traveled to Hawaii, Maui and Waikiki, British Virgin Island, St. Thomas,  Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Cayman Island, Cancun Mexico, Iguzul Falls in Brazil  and Argentina and Rio de Janeiro, and just last year, a cruise up the coast of Alaska.

 

We were able to bring our Mothers and children with us on several of these trips. Now listen closely, all were paid for by the company.

 

We have received numerous top awards in our business and helped many people on our team succeed as well.  I don’t tell you this to impress you but to impress upon you that our company has been around for awhile and we have real staying power.  And we will be around for you to help you learn the ropes.

 

We are not a “get rich quick.”   However, we are definitely a vehicle for getting rich. 

 

Okay, your probably wondering how long does it take?

 

You should expect to put in reasonable, part time consistent effort for one to several years.  In that amount of time you should be able to create the basis for a significant stream of long-term residual income.  The final criterion is your commitment to work at it, diligently and seriously, with the commitment of an entrepreneur.  Listen, the rewards are well worth it.

 

As a Christian woman, I would not want to make money at other peoples expense.  Part of my joy is helping people live better.  I love talking to Mothers and people in general and want to make a difference in their lives.  I would encourage you to give us a look and make a commitment.  If we are not the best home based business today you can always do something else.

 

If you do, at least stop and ask yourself this question.  “What would my life look like if I could have it any way I wanted it?”

 

Helping others live better  - that’s our motto.

Jennifer and I have both learned similar lessons in life, and both had to deal with personal setbacks that could’ve prevented us from realizing our dreams, but we never gave up, and now we’re enjoying everything life has to offer…By the way, here are some of our personal pictures

 

I don’t know about you, but I believe there’s no better way to get to know someone than to see them with the people they love, doing the things they enjoy.

 

And I think a big part of someone getting to know you is to find out more about where you live, what you do, and what’s important to you.

 

Time is our most precious commodity.  It’s the one thing we can’t get back once it’s gone.  Sometimes, just sometimes, we all need that reminder.  To Jennifer and me, nothing is more important than spending quality time with our family and friends.

 

In my last year in high school, I decided that I wanted to become an electronics technician.  When I applied to my school of choice, I got turned down the first time around.  But I was just too stubborn to give up on my dream.  I was determined to get accepted to this school, which had very high requirements, and I did!

 

However, after spending 6 weeks at the school and barely getting through batteries, I got to thinking that this is just too slow.  So I went to the Navy Recruiter in Cocoa, FL to see what they could offer in the electronics field.   Took the test, did well and was guaranteed electronics.

 

After basic training in Great Lakes, I went to Sonar Technician school in Key West, FL and they covered batteries in 2 days!!!

 

Well anyhow, fast forward 21 years and a successful career in the Navy, starting my own business in real estate, was a huge risk at that time since I had no real working capital but I had read all the No Money Down books and had a sincere burning desire to succeed, and a positive mental attitude.

 

I moved forward, enjoyed some success ...I was on top of the world, I was happy and successful, or so I thought…Then the real estate crash and tax reform of 1986.  I tried to ride the ups and downs of cash-flow challenges, long hours - it was a roller-coaster ride.  By 1990 I was stressed out, burnt out, broke and in the middle of a divorce.

 

I began looking for ways to supplement my income.  Network Marketing was my answer.  I responded to a little ad in the paper and the next thing I knew attending an opportunity meeting in Jacksonville, FL in Frank and Sue Peterson’s living room.  That’s when I got hooked up with my first of many companies to follow, called Uni-Max. 

 

To be perfectly honest, I spent the first couple years running between mad and frustrated.  Like most, I failed many times, but managed to finally make a few bucks along the way, mainly because I was just too stubborn to quit.

 

Don’t get me wrong, MLM is a great industry within the free enterprise system, but I also have learned that in order to succeed, you’ve gotta first learn how to effectively market yourself. 

 

I didn’t learn these skills when I was first introduced and that is probably why I failed in more than a few programs over the 10 years prior to the company I am with now.

 

Hobbies and Interest

 

Well, I don’t know if you would call it a hobby or not but I really love to teach our business and help people go from where we were 12 years ago to where we are today.

 

We both love traveling too, especially with the folks in our company.  This includes cruises and training events all over North America, and on a several occasions in Hawaii and the British Virgin Islands….and what is really neat, is the company paid for everything.

 

Traveling is one of the many “perks” of owning an International home-based business, and having both the financial freedom and the time freedom to just get up and go when we want feels great.

 

Every Day is a New Adventure

 

It’s been such a blessing to have the financial resources to put Jennifer through her undergraduate programs without her having to work.  I get to work as little or as much as I want.  Some weeks I work as little as 3 hours a day.  Other weeks, such as when I’m introducing tweaks to our business model, I’ll work 8—14 hours a day.  But I love it and I set my own schedule.  If a buddy of mine calls up and want to go play golf, I’m free to go.

 

As I mentioned before, I’m focused on building a passive stream of income and helping others do the same.  My basic financial strategy is to move my earned income over to the passive investment type of income category.

 

By the way, if you haven’t read it, I highly suggest you pick up and read Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki.  Great read.

 

It’ll show you the importance of using your assets to increase your net worth rather than simply relying on a job.  More importantly, if you aren’t already convinced, it may help you to understand how valuable it is to learn about investing.

 

The Importance Of Having A Mentor

 

We’ve been fortunate enough to earn over six-figures a year because of the successful mentors we’ve worked closely with and have learned from.  Success breeds success.   Are you hanging out with successful people or are you going it alone?  If you’re alone, chances are you’ll fail.

 

It’s almost guaranteed statistically.  Your chances of you succeeding working with Jennifer and I?  Well, you have to make your own judgment call on that one. 

 

We can’t guarantee your success...that’s up to you, but we’ve helped a lot of people achieve success over the years ...We’re pretty sure we can help you too.

 

What we’ve learned is that people want to feel special and not be treated like part of the herd.  There are lots of people who can show you how to sign on the dotted line and start your own business but if you’re looking for a genuine mentor who will support and nurture you, then we can help you.

 

As I said, I’m a teacher at heart...and as such, I love to see my students succeed.  I teach people from all walks of life how to generate above average incomes working from home.

 

Yul Brynner (the bald guy famous for playing the King of Siam in “The King and I”) said he loved acting so much, he would pay for the privilege.  Now I’m not as crazy as he was, but I did learn from his remark that I can’t stop teaching.  If you paid me $1000 a week to keep my mouth shut and not teach anyone anything, I could die broke. :o(

 

I’ve learned that financial success is only a residue of personal acceptance, positive thoughts and attitudes...success starts within; not without.

 

The reality is, the cards are stacked in your favor.  I have faith that the Universe will reward those that contribute to the lives of others and as long as I am doing my part, it will do its part (thank God!).

 

Our Business:

 

The company we have represented for over 13 years was originally founded in 1986 as a direct sales company.  Two years later, in 1988, it became an MLM company.  Growing to $100 million per year, the company incorporated in January of 2000.

 

We have a relatively small overseas presence that promises to expand twenty fold in the next five years.  Jennifer and I have two Managers (former professional basketball players in Spain).  Although many of our reps primary mode of growth is through retailing, Jennifer and I, including many of our leaders primary growth is through recruiting and training.

 

Update:  October 4, 2008 - Because of a new discovery in nutrition, our company spawned one of our Six Divisions into a new sister company called Heartland.
